Pharamacological Dept. of University of Pécs, 1976-1981.
Studying the excretion of anions by bile, the effects of insulin on the bile flow. Also the development of bile acid-dependent and independent fractions of bile. I also taught in the Pharmacological Dept. and undertook the testing of drugs.
Neurological Department of Central Hospital, Székesfehérvár, Hungary, 1981-1996.
Treatment of extrapyramidal disorders. Studied the effect of (-)deprenyl as monotherapy on Parkinson’s disase. Also development interest in essential tremor. Worked out quantitative performance test for measuring hand tremor called volumetric method. Ascertained that low dose theophylline decreased tremor in a double-blide cross over study, comparing it with propranolol. The trial was connected with measurement of the theophylline concentration in serum, saliva and cerebrospinal fluid.
Department of Neurology in Sopron, 1996 –2000.
I started to study the effect of transcranial magnetic stimulation in Parkinson’s disease and other central nervous diseases. I recommended firstly the treatment with rTMS for days that the after-effect became longer. That way it can be applied for therapy. I worked out protocols for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and post-stroke.
Neurorehabilitation,2000 to present
We treat patients with stroke, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injury partly by applying repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and tDCS.

1989 Glasgow. Working with Prof. T.W. Stone on pharmacological work studying the acute and chronic effects of drugs used in essential tremor on the receptor function assessed by electro-physiological method in brain slices of mice.
1991. National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, London. Took part in short study of essential tremor, comparing different methods of assessing the tremor and analysing the frequency spectrum of essntial tremor between different generations of family.
